KENNEWICK, Wash.--Police are warning of several vehicle break-ins during football games at Lampson Stadium in Kennewick.
Friday (October 17th) night, two cars were broken into.
Others have been broken into over the past few weeks.
Police say this happens mainly because purses are being left in plain sight inside the car or doors are left unlocked.
Officers say it's a situation that can easily be prevented.
"Don't be a victim," says Officer Stan Howard, Kennewick police. Lock your stuff up. Put all your valuables in the trunk. Get all of your belongings out of sight. We don't want people to promote thievery."
Spectators can expect to see a heavier police and security presence at the stadium, especially during event nights.
