Historic Yakima Home Will Become A Bed And Breakfast
YAKIMA--A historic home in Yakima will soon be a bed and breakfast.
Neighbors of the Rosedell Manor on West Yakima Avenue thought Holli and Paul radke were making the house into a bed and breakfast only to sell it in a few years.
The lawsuit was dropped their lawsuit when the Radkes assured neighbors they had no plans to flip the manor.
"I'm very pleased that the B&B was allowed because I'm sure that this house will be preserved for hopefully another 100 years," Paul Radke said. "We won't see it run-down and decayed like it was when we bought it."
The Yakima Historic Preservation Commission has supported the Radkes' plan to remake the Rosedell Manor. Today they hosted the Radkes for a presentation and question-and-answer session on the manor's past, present, and future.
The Radkes hope to open the bed and breakfast in April.
