People Search For Suspects After Kennewick Man Was Attacked In His Apartment
KENNEWICK, Wash. - A Kennewick man was attacked in his apartment Sunday morning.
Jerry Moore was still shaken up Monday afternoon.
Police said the attack happened at 10 o'clock in the morning at the La Serena apartment complex in Kennewick.
Moore said five people forced their way into his apartment looking for money and whatever else they could get their hands on.
Police are looking for 18-year old Robert Allen Gibson. Gibson is one of the five suspects wanted in the home invasion robbery.
Moore said he knows Gibson but not very well. Moore said he was repeatedly punched in the head by one of the suspects, but he only suffered minor injuries.
He ran to the back of his apartment, opened the window and screamed for help.
Moore reacted to the attack, "scared, very scared. I didn't know what was going down. I felt violated. I'm grateful for the neighbors I have and the management and maintenance people that are here because they were very helpful."
Moore wrote down the license plate number and police found the suspect's car Monday morning.
The identity of the other suspects was unknown Monday afternoon.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 dollars reward for information leading to his arrest.
