Parras Scheduled to be Arraigned on First-Degree Murder Charges
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Jeremyah Parras, 24, is scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Yakima County court for the murder of 20-year-old Adan Tapia.
Parras is facing first-degree murder charges as police say he gunned down Tapia outside an apartment building on East "D" Street last Friday. He told police he was acting in retaliation because Tapia had fired shots at his East "F" Street home about a week before.
Police say Parras is a known gang member with nine previous felony convictions.
