MEAD, Wash. - The Spokane County Sheriff's office is investigating a shooting in Mead that sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries. The victim underwent surgery early Saturday morning and according to the Sheriff's Office is expected to live. Deputies tell us he was shot twice with a .44 caliber revolver.
A Sheriff's Office spokesperson tells KHQ that investigators have identified all of the parties involved in the shooting but right now no arrests have been made.
Authorities say the shooting happened Friday night around 9:30 after an argument started in the 3900 block of E. Center Street north of Mead. The shooting took place two blocks away shortly after the argument started.
The victim drove himself to the 12000 block of Yale Rd. and then called 911. The victim was then transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center.
The window of the victim's vehicle was also shot out and it is unclear whether the victim was inside at the time the window was shot.
