KENNEWICK, Wash-- One voter in Benton County says her vote could have counted twice. Julie Chamberlain of Kennewick says she received two ballots in the mail.
One ballot was sent to her old address on 10th St. and the other was sent to her new address on John Day Ave. She registered to vote at her new address two months before the deadline.
"It's really strange especially with all of the problems they have with voting these days, and with the governor race in 2004, it was just off by 100 some votes, it's kind of ridiculous that they don't pay closer attention," said Chamberlain.
Chamberlain says she won't vote twice, but says it would probably be overlooked if she did. The election is just nine days away. The deadline for sending in your ballot is Nov. 4th.
