POST FALLS, Idaho - Two people from Yakima were in trouble Monday night after police found them in a stolen car in Idaho.

They were stopped by Post Falls Police near Spokane Street and 9th Street.

26 year-old Kevin Lee Harper and 25 year-old Desirea Lynn Everts were taken to jail on Friday.

They apparently told police they used meth earlier that day.  They allegedly told police they stole car out of Yakima so they could drive to the Hitching Post in Coeur d' Alene to get married.

Police also found a loaded gun, credit cards and information that belong to other people in the stolen vehicle.

Harper also told police he was involved in two other burglaries.

Both suspects were arrested on a number of felony charges and transported to the Kootenai County Jail.
