Kennewick Man Pled Not Guilty to Stealing $5,000 From Hertz

PASCO, Wash. (AP) - A 52-year-old car salesman pleaded innocent Tuesday at Pasco to charges he took nearly $5,000 from his employer, Hertz Car Sales.

Charles Rudolph Davis of Kennewick faces a January 14th trial in Franklin County Superior Court on one count of first-degree theft.

Detective Scott Warren reportedly wrote Davis had "a drinking and gambling problem."
