BURBANK, Wash-- Friday's fatal car accident that took the life of two brothers in Burbank is one of many accidents in that area on Highway 12.
State Patrol says there are two accident-heavy spots on the highway: the intersections at Route 124 and another at Humorist Road, partially because they're the only two spots that have traffic lights
One trooper says using caution can help cut-down the number of accidents.
"For all intersection that are marked with a traffic light, event hough your light is green, look both ways to ensure traffic is going to stop before proceeding," says trooper Brad Neff. "That's about the safest thing you can do before crossing any intersection."
Trooper Ness says the speed limit of 60 miles-per-hour often leads to bad accidents. Friday's accident is still under investigation.
