Cougar Women Score 101 Points In Exhibition Opener

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - The Washington State women's basketball
team had its first exhibition tune-up of the season yesterday,
beating Showtime Basketball 101-64.
Five Cougars scored in double figures, including three freshmen.
Forward Rosie Tarnowski had 14 points, while April Cook scored 12
and Katie Grad had 11.
Seniors Katie Appleton and Heather Molzen also had 14 points
apiece.
The Cougars host their final exhibition game next Sunday against
Concordia, Ore.
