YAKIMA, Wash-- The holiday season is upon us and what better gift to give than art by local artists. Allied Arts is all ready for the "Art of Giving" exhibit.
Prices start as low as five dollars for art that's truly priceless. From jewelry, to scarves, to paintings and more. Over thirty local artists are featured in the annual holiday exhibit. The grand opening is this Sunday, Allied Arts members are welcome to shop from 1:00 to 2:00, while the general public can come in from 2:00 to 4:00.
"The Art of Giving is really everyone's chance to come get really special unique hand made gifts for everyone on their giving list," said Jessica Moskwa, executive director, Allied Arts.
Sunday's festivities will include live holiday music, coffee and treats from Cafe' Melange. Over five years running the exhibit always brings in a crowd, Moskwa said this year there are more unique and fun ornaments than usual.
There's plenty to choose from, the most difficult part will be picking your favorite piece. The exhibit is on display November 9th through December 17th.
