Posted: Updated:

BURBANK, Wash.-- The State Patrol is looking for witnesses at an accident that killed two young men.

It happened Saturday on State Route 12 at Humorist Road near Burbank. Troopers say a man driving a semi-truck turned onto Humorist Road and hit an oncoming car. But the investigation is not done.

19-year-old Jorge Mendez and his 17-year-old brother Jesus, both from Burbank, died at the scene.

"Right now it's a little bit too early to come to any conclusion as to what happened, we do have several witnesses that we've spoken to, some of the statements are contradictory and there's still a lot of ground to cover in that investigation," said Lieutenant Jay Cabezuela, with the Washington State Patrol.

Funeral services for the Mendez brothers will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., at Faith Assembly Christian Center in Pasco.
