KENNEWICK, Wash-- A Kennewick man is behind bars after police say he drove drunk, hit a car, and ran from the scene.
Kennewick police officers say 20-year-old Kyle Foster had been drinking, then was travelling too fast on Tenth Avenue before turning onto Green Street.
Foster's Toyota pick-up rolled on its side and hit a parked car. After the collision, police showed up, but no one was there.
"When officers responded and got up there, there was no one around, but we did see a significant amount of blood all over," says officer Tony Valdez of the Kennewick Police.
Officers later arrested Foster at his home in Kennewick. Foster hurt his left arm in the accident and was taken to Kennewick General hHspital then later flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. One officer tells us he's lucky to not have lost his arm. Foster was arrested for DUI and hit and run.
