SEATTLE (AP) - The third day of Mariners interviews to find their new manager brought Oakland bench coach Don Wakamatsu to Seattle and will continue with Triple-A manager Randy Ready. Wakamatsu has never been a manager but interviewed for the job with the Texas Rangers a few years ago. He said he was edgy Wednesday morning as he spent about four hours talking to new Mariners general manager Jack Zduriencik (Zur-EN'-sik), trying to learn if the team is going to have a long-term rebuilding project or push immediately to win in 2009. He sees the Mariners as a young, talented team that with prodding could win right away.
