Men Arrested For A Yakima Robbery Are Suspected Of Being Involved In Tri-Cities Robberies

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash. - Three men are in custody in Yakima after being arrested for a robbery at a flower shop in Yakima.

Police think they were also involved in robberies in the Tri-Cities.

A jewelry store on 5th Street in Pasco was robbed on October 29th. Now authorities think they are the same people involved in the flower shop robbery.

Pasco Police said they are probably responsible for another robbery at a transportation center on Clark Street in Pasco that happened weeks ago and possibly connected to a third robbery at a convenience store near Prosser.

Police said 34-year-old Jose Martinez of Sunnyside, a 29-year-old man from California and a 24-year-old from Grandview are in custody in Yakima.

The men have not been charged with the robberies in the Tri-Cities area but police think they are responsible.

Now the case will be forwarded to the Franklin County Prosecutor.
