PASCO, Wash. - The Pasco City Manager was forced to admit that the city committed unfair labor practices by not bargaining with the Pasco Police Union at the City Council Meeting Monday night.
The problem stems from rules about compensation time for officers.
The City and the Union have been arguing over the issue since 2003.
The Public Employment Relations Commission, PERC, ruled in favor of the Union twice.
The City Manager was forced to read the commission's decision Monday and an official notice must hang for the next 60 days at City Hall.
