YAKIMA, Wash-- The workday's not over at 5:00 for many Yakima professionals. Networking takes place all the time.
The Women's Century Club hosted Tuesday night's "Business After Hours" event, which made for a great combo. Local business leaders networking at one of Yakima's top event spaces.
The Chamber of Commerce holds these events once a month, it gives members and non-members time to build contacts in a comfortable setting. People exchange business cards while enjoying dinner and wine.
Tuesday's party was good for the Century Club as well, plenty of exposure to people who may need a venue for business events.
"It's a treasure to our community. We'd like to raise awareness and ask for support for the community to maintain this building. It's truly an asset," said Peggy Burton, Yakima Chamber of Commerce.
The historic home was built by the Chamber of Commerce's first president, George Donald. These networking nights are held on the third Tuesday of the month. It's $10 for members, $15 for non-members.
