WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (AP) - Washington State kicker Nico Grasu is the Pac-10 special teams player of the week. Grasu's 19-yard field goal in the second overtime gave the Cougars a 16-13 victory over Washington in Saturday's Apple Cup at Pullman. He sent the game into overtime with a 28-yard field goal that tied the score at 10. Grasu was three-for-three in field goal attempts in the game. He is a sophomore from Encino, Calif. The Pac-10's other two players of the week were tailback Jahvid Best of California and safety Greg Laybourn of Oregon State. Best was the league's offensive player of the week and Laybourn was its defensive player of the week.
