Cougs build off Apple Cup success

PULLMAN, Wash. -Things are shaping up to be a lot brighter for the Cougar football team, and not just because they play at Hawaii Saturday.
The Apple Cup win eases the pain of an otherwise terrible season. Several recruits were on hand Saturday to watch the thrilling finish against the Huskies. The win gave the fans plenty to cheer about and reminded everyone how special Martin Stadium can be.
"The thing that I want our players to see and obviously the recruits.if you give them something to cheer about you can play in front of one of the best venues in America," said Paul Wulff.
"You give our fans something to get excited about, you're not gonna get much better than that."
The huskies season can't end soon enough. They play at Cal Saturday. A loss would give the program it's first winless season since the 1890's
