TOPPENISH--Washington State Police are looking for two people who ran from the scene of a deadly car crash Thanksgiving Day.
Troopers say the driver of a 1997 Jaguar did not stop at the stop sign at Branch and Wierman Roads, just west of Toppenish. The Jaguar hit a Nissan Sentra, ramming it through a fence.
The driver, 37-year-old Rosa Magana, died in the crash.
"The search will continue for these two individuals that left the scene," Sgt. Ed McAvoy said. "They will be found. It'll just be a matter of time."
The Jaguar is in police custody and McAvoy says they will check the car's past and current owners to get leads.
Two children who were in the Nissan were transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and are still in critical condition.
