KENNEWICK, Wash-- Who says Mondays are no fun? Sitting at the computer is the reality for a number of workers Monday, taking time to surf the web and find those holiday deals.
Experts say there are plenty of deals to be found; some websites offer anywhere from 50-70% off everything.
But this year's holiday shopper is a tough read. Despite a weak economy, Black Friday saw a 7% increase in sales. So you would think that means Cyber Monday is sure to be a hit. But that's not neccesarily the case. A number of shoppers we spoke with say today just wasn't for them.
Even though we couldn't find many online shoppers, analsyts say last year over $730 million were spent on Cyber Monday. And early numbers today show over 4 million shoppers have hit the web to find a deal.
