OLYMPIA, Wash - Washington Secretary of State Sam Reed has certified the November election.
Election year turned out to be a record breaker.
Along with the hotly protested presidential primary, Washignton held its first top-two primary and the turnout in November set a new record.
More than three million people cast ballots...just under 85 percent of the eligible voters taking part...mostly with mail in ballots.
This year was also new for online registration. More than three and a half million people in Washington state are now registered.
Oregon had a nearly 86 percent voter turn out.
