RICHLAND, Wash - A new "meeting place" is taking form at WSU Tri-Cities.
This week John Hoge has been working on this environmental sculpture overlooking the Columbia river.
Heavy equipment moved the huge carved and polished boulders...creating a place where students can relax and study.
A committee at WSU Tri-Cities selected Hoge from nearly 300 artists on the "Arts Commission's Public Artist Roster."
Hoge expects to finish his work in a couple weeks.
