Soldier's Family in West Richland Gets His House Decorated For Christmas While He is in Iraq
WEST RICHLAND, Wash.-- A local Army family is getting some help with Christmas decorations.
Staff from Senske Lawn and Tree Care were in West Richland on Friday, decorating the house with more than $500 worth of lights and garland.
The man of the house has been in Iraq since August. He usually puts up all the decorations. His wife says without Senske's help the family wouldn't have put up lights at all this year.
"You know if it was just me it wouldn't matter so much if things were decorated, but it makes me happy that the kids, can actually have decorations on the house," said Haley.
Santa also made a stop by the house on Friday, bringing some early Christmas presents for Haley's four children. The family was picked by Senske with the help from Camp Patriot and a Tri-City radio show.
