PASCO, Wash.-- Don't know what to give this Christmas? How about charity in the name of a loved one?
You can do it through the Alternative Gift Fair. For the second year it's being put on by staff at the Community Unitarian Universalist Church in Pasco.
You can give a donation to more than 10 non-profit groups. Once you've bought a gift, your loved one will get a personalized card, decorated by local artists and calligraphers.
"These organizations are very active already, and you may have a friend whose already involved and once you give a gift like this, they're going to think wow! you really thought about what matters to me," said Audrey Ulrich, Charity Liaison for the Fair.
Last year the fair raised more than $10,000 for different non-profit groups. It's happening Saturday, December 6th, from noon to 4:00 p.m., at the Community Unitarian Universalist Church, at 2819 West Sylvester in Pasco.
