SEATTLE (AP) - University of Washington officials have
introduced Steve Sarkisian (sar-KEYS'-ee-an) as the new football
coach, replacing Tyrone Willingham.

Sarkisian was introduced Monday by athletic director Scott
Woodward and University of Washington president Mark Emmert who
says, "We think we got our guy."

It's a five-year deal worth $10 million, ranging from $1.75
million the first year to $2.3 million in 2013. It also offers
incentives for championships, bowl appearances and season ticket

Sarkisian says he can't wait to "get this thing going" and
compete for championships.

More than 200 people attended the news conference at Husky
Stadium's Don James Center, including cheerleaders, marching band,
alumni and four students with S-A-R-K painted on their chests.
