RICHLAND, Wash-- The Arc of Tri-Cities is asking for your help raising money to move into their new building. One way to raise money is by selling personalized tiles.
The current building is on Williams Boulevard in Richland, but staff say they're trying to expand to meet the growing need for assistance to developmentally disabled individuals and their families.
"They've just outgrown it," says State Senator Jerome Delvin. "There's over a 500 person waiting list for services and the square footage they have right now just doesn't accommodate the addition of giving services to people on the waiting list."
A number of those using the facility say they're looking forward to the new building.
