SEATTLE (AP) - Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck says coach Mike Holmgren gave an emotional speech yesterday to the players about the their final three games of the season.
Hasselbeck told KIRO Radio that Holmgren said they were going to open it up and have fun in his last three games as Seattle coach. He also said it was important for players to be successful to set the stage for next season.
Hasselbeck says there is a lot on the line in the remaining games Sunday at St. Louis, at home the following week against Brett Favre and the Jets, and finishing at division winner Arizona.
Hasselbeck has missed six games this season with a bulging disk in his back but hopes the medical staff will let him return for at least one of the games. --- Information from: KIRO-AM, http://mynorthwest.com/
