Dec 12 & 13th - Christmas Lighted Boat Parade

This year's Christmas Lighted Boat Parade will be held this Friday and Saturday, December 12 and 13.
A number of boats decorated with brilliant, and sometimes animated, lighted displays celebrating the community and the holiday season will participate in this event.
The parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Cable Bridge and proceed up the Columbia River along Columbia Park to Howard Amon Park. The boats arrive at approx. 7:15 p.m at Howard Amon Park.
The parade will return to Clover Island, finishing at approximately 9:00 p.m.
The Clover Island Yacht Club sponsors this free event, with sponsorship participation from Gap West Broadcasting and Cedars Pier One.
While the public may view the parade from the many waterfront restaurants and parks along the river, the best views are from Clover Island, Columbia Park, Howard Amon Park, and Columbia Point. Participation in the parade is open to all boaters.
A Skipper's meeting will be held at the Clover Island Yacht Club, 104 Clover Island, Kennewick, on Wednesday, December 10, at 6:30 p.m. At this time, interested boaters may register and receive instruction. Special thanks to the Coast Guard, Coast Guard Auxiliary, and Benton County Sheriff's Department for their assistance during this event.
