WALLA WALL COUNTY, Wash-- Washington State Patrol has identified the driver of Friday night's fatal semi-truck rollover as 51 year-old Larry Rhoades of Post Falls, Idaho. Troopers say he hit a boulder that was in the middle of the highway.
Half the road was closed as crews worked for hours cleaning up the scene Saturday. That stretch of road does have many signs warning drivers to be on the look out for rocks.
It is still unclear how the rock got onto the road. State Patrol does not know if the weather may have played a part in the accident.
Rhoades died at the scene. Trooper say he wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
