RICHLAND, Wash -  Early Thursday morning , Richland Police responded to the McDonalds on Wellsian Way for a reported malicious mischief. A vehicle had all of its tires slashed and a mirror broken.

Officers followed footprints in the snow up to the 300 block of Wright Ave, finding at least 8 other vehicles with slashed tires along the way. Each time, the footprints led up to the damaged vehicles.

Officers contacted Lounsbury and Hissam at Hissam's residence after following the footprints there. The subjects were interviewed and they both admitted to causing the damage. Both subjects were arrested and booked into the Benton County Jail.

Full damage estimates are not yet available, but initial estimates are approximately $1000 total damage
