SNOQUALMIE PASS--Snoqualmie Pass is open again after closing this weekend for about 12 hours.
KNDO wanted to know what the best routes around the pass are in case it closes again.
The Washington Department of Transportation tells us that White and Stevens passes are your best bets.
The DOT recommends staying home if you can. But, if you are visiting family this holiday week, drive carefully and check the pass reports.
"If it does close, people can use US-12 over White Pass or they can go through Stevens Pass," DoT spokeswoman Meagan McFadden said. "They are mountain passes and people need to go ahead and check before they head out."
The DOT expects snow Tuesday but not much wind, so the pass should stay open. If it does close, the DOT said it will not be a prolonged closure.
