Hasselbeck Unlikely to Play in Final Seahawks Game

Posted: Updated:

RENTON, Wash. (AP) - Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck says
there's a chance he might play in the final game at Arizona, but
it's unlikely.

Hasselbeck has missed eight games this season with a bulging
back disk that weakens his legs.

The 33-year-old says doctors have told him that if he rests he
probably won't need surgery.

Quarterback Seneca Wallace would make his eighth start of the
season Sunday against the Cardinals, who have already clinched the
NFC West.

Before this season, Wallace had started four games in five years
as Hasselbeck's backup.
