KENNEWICK, Wash. - Jamie Hattley is coming back to the Fever. The former standout DB was traded to Arkansas early last season by then-coach Cedric Walker. Hattley went on to post 62.5 tackles and 5 interceptions. He holds Fever team records for tackles in a single season (91.5) and tackles in a single game (13). In 2007 he was selected to the American Conference All-af2 Second Team. New Coach Richard Davis is happy to get him on board. "It's good to have a guy like Jamie back," he said. "He is definitely a standout player in the AF2 and someone that the fans in Tri-Cities will remember and love." This will be his third season with the Fever. Also Monday, the Fever were assigned LB Travis Motley. The, 6'2", 190 lbs. rookie was a 2-year starter at the University of South Dakota. Motley was selected to the 2nd team all conference and was also invited to the Seattle Seahawks mini-camp in 2008. "He has a chance to be very good at this level," said Davis. "His college coaches spoke very highly of his character and talent and I look forward to seeing him in camp." Motley was also a two year starter at Diablo Valley College.
