New Coffee and Dementia Study

If you're a coffee lover, there is some good news for you on the medical front.

A cup of coffee may be what you need to get your brain buzzing each morning...

Now new research from Sweden and Finland shows it could also protect your brain as you age.

Researchers say moderate coffee drinkers -- those who have about 3 to 5 cups a day -- during middle age appear to have a lower risk for developing dementia later in life.

It's unclear whether the caffeine or some other ingredient in the coffee could be beneficial.  

More research is needed.
