SELAH--One Selah business is still cleaning up after last week's flooding.
River Ridge Golf Course was hit hardest by the floods. The course and all the golf carts will need to be repaired. Saturday, volunteers helped owner Dean Laurvick clear mud and water out of the basement.
He wants to reopen the course's restaurant next week, but that will be hard since the floods wiped out his supplies.
"What the flood didn't get, we were out of power for five days," Laurvick said. "All of the refridgerators and freezers, even though they were upstairs, when you got no power, [it just] doesn't work."
Laurvick says there was less water than the last major flood in 1996. But, this recent flood moved much faster and did a lot more damage.
