WASHINGTON, D.C.-- For Columbia Burbank High School students Kameron Guajardo and Nicole Roberts, the trip to D.C. has certainly been exciting.
We spoke with both of them on Monday, the day before the inauguration, and they were hard to track down. They were constantly moving from speech to speech, trying to absorb everything, and everyone, that's in the capitol.
Most of us have heard about the weekend's activites; but we wanted to know what it was actually like being there in person. Kameron says seeing president-elect Obama was a moment he'll never forget.
"I don't even know how to explain it," says Guajardo. "It was amazing. It went from everyone screaming because Beyonce sang right before him, to everyone just dead silent. It was intense."
Celebrities aside, Kameron says he's taking full advantage of his time in the nation's capital, visiting just about every tourist attraction.
