SELAH--A Selah business reopens two weeks after flooding destroyed nearly all of its supplies.
The River Ridge Golf Course restaurant served its first customers since the Yakima River swept into the basement, wiping out the building's power and ruining food and other equipment.
The owner said the restaurant would not be open without help from the Selah community.
"It was almost, I have to say record time," Dean Laurvick said. "Fortunately [the top floor] of the restaurant wasn't harmed at all."
Laurvick is not sure when the golf course will be reopen. He said that if temperatures warm up next month, the course could be ready sometime in March.
