AUBURN, Wash. (AP) - A 5-year-old girl has died in a fire at the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation near Auburn.
KOMO News reports that the 5-year-old girl died inside the home, which was gutted by the blaze. Two other children - ages 10 and 4 - were also injured along with a 17-year-old male.
A neighbor reported the fire just before 6 a.m. Thursday. Firefighters put it out quickly, but the home is severely damaged.
KOMO News reports a 4-year-old boy suffered serious burns and smoke inhalation. The child was taken to Harborview Medical Center along with the 10-year-old girl, who also suffered smoke inhalation. The 17-year-old male was taken a to a local hospital.
