Viera's Bakery Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Draws Big Crowd
PASCO, Wash-- A large crowd for this Saturday's ribbon cutting ceremony at Viera's Bakery in Pasco. The Hispanic and Pasco Chambers of Commerce were on hand to welcome in the new store.
We spoke with a number of people at the event, they say the Viera's new store is a sign of success and hard-work.
"Number one it's awesome that we're able to do this with the Hispanic Chamber, I mean that's really a major milestone for our city, I think, for our community," says Nikki Gerds, executive director for the Pasco Chamber of Commerce. "For the family, once again their hard work is starting to pay off and that's important for the community to see what you put into something is what you get back."
One representative from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce says the bakery is another example of the growing diversity in West Pasco.
