Yakima Musician Selling Albums To Help Fight Breast Cancer

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA--A Yakima musician is using his music to help fight breast cancer.

Phillip Jaye is donating 60 percent of the proceeds from his album, "Wishing Well," to Memorial Hospital's Ohana Mammography Center.

The money will go towards a fund that pays for women's mammograms.

"It's not really about me," Jaye said.  "It's about the women who need help here in Yakima and can't afford it."

Jaye hopes to sell 500 albums.   They're on sale for $12.95 at Borders, Inklings, and Off the Record.

You can also e-mail Phillip at phillipjaye@aol.com if you want to buy an album.
