Yakima School District Superintendent Candidates Represent Schools Across the Country
YAKIMA, Wash. - The six people vying for the job of superintendent are educators from different states across the country, according to a statement from the Yakima School District released Monday.
All six candidates will visit the district later this week to meet with the board of directors for the district and members of the district's search committee. These meetings will take place Wednesday and Thursday night.
Two of the candidates come from Washington but the rest are out of state. Two more are from Lousiana while another is from Georgia and the final is from Colorado.
Here are the names of the six candidates and the districts they come from:

Elaine Beraza, Director, Department of Defense Domestic Elementary and Secondary Schools Peachtree City, GA
James Dupree, Superintendent, Monroe City Schools Monroe, LA
