WASHINGTON-- Are you looking for a job? With unemployment above 7% nationwide, a lot of people are. So what's your best bet for a recession-resistant job?
A report by the Employment Security Department says hospitals and federal employment are among the most likely to not be affected by the failing economy.
And there's good news if you're already in the computer software business or other media-related work. The report says those fields may continue to grow.
But the report does lay out some bad news. Teens looking for summer work will likely have a harder time finding employment, and those seeking retirement may have to stay in the workforce for a longer period of time.
