PENDLETON, Ore-- Oregon State Police say 46-year-old Carrie Lynn Smith was not properly restrained when she rolled her 1993 Ford Tempo onto the side of Interstate-84 just after 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Officers say Smith was driving roughly ten miles west of Pendleton, when her car veered to the side. It was when Smith tried to move back over, her car over-corrected and rolled several times before landing on the other side of the highway on a sideslope.
A number of officers were on the scene to move the car. On Sunday, glass and debris still line the side of the road. State police are still investigating the accident.
