KENNEWICK, Wash-- A reminder if you still need to pick up a converter box before the DTV switch-- on Tuesday, KNDU and KNDO will turn off our analog signal.
We stopped by the Kennewick Best Buy to see how prepared they are for any last minute buyers, and we found a mountain of new converter boxes for those who still need one.
"I've seen a lot of people very prepared for this," says one Best Buy employee. "I think February 17th is still good, I don't think there's a need for a delay. We are very prepared for it. We're here to help people get what they need for the 17th. As you can see, we've got a nice pile of them. They're still flying off the shelves."
The Yakima Best Buy says they're fully stocked, too. The boxes cost between $50-60, without factoring in any government issued coupons.
