YAKIMA--The Central Washington Sportsmen's Show wrapped up Sunday in Yakima.
Organizers were worried that the rough economy might keep large crowds from showing up, but it didn't stop these outdoors fans. This year's attendance was as good or better than previous shows.
Bad weather might be the reason.
"People are not able to get out and do any gardening," Sportsmen's Show Spokesman Rob Phillips said. "They're coming down and seeing what's new in the fishing and outdoor world."
2009 marks the show's 20th anniversary. The kid's fishing hole is still one of the most popular booths.
