KENNEWICK, Wash. - 5,000 containers of Floam were distributed to Boys and Girls Club locations around the Tri-Cities Wednesday.
It comes from the "Toys for Tots" program with donations from several local organizations, one being the Tri-City Americans which explains why Winger, the Tri-City Americans Mascot, was helping the kids unload one of the crates.
Kids said they've never seen this much Floam before, but they know exactly what to do with it. Each kid got to take home a Floam container. Club organizers will now have to figure out where to store the rest.
Other contributors were Windermere Real Estate, Sun Mart, Toys R Us and Garage Town USA.
