KENNEWICK, Wash. - A Kennewick man is shot by the Benton County Swat Team and taken to jail after he threatens to kill himself and anyone who gets in is way.
The small neighborhood on Private Road 887 was told to shelter in place for nearly eight hours during negotiations with the suspect.
Benton County Sheriff Larry Taylor said this is the second time in the past few months the SWAT team has been called out for the same reason.
If finally came to an end at 7:00 p.m. Friday night the man left his home with a gun pointed at his head. He then pointed the gun at deputies and that's when they shot him with a bean bag round.
He was then taken to Benton County Jail.
