KENNEWICK, Wash.-- The US Small Business Owners Administration is warning people to watch out for a suspicious email.
The email has a fake letterhead from the SBA asking small business owners nation wide to give out their bank account information.
The email claims some business owners may be eligible for some additional tax rebates under the Economic Stimulus Act.
SBA is asking business owners to beware of this scheme and not respond. The SBA Office of Inspector General is also looking into these letters.
They're asking anyone who receives one of them to report it and call this number: 1-800-767-0385.
