PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Washington State football quarterback Marshall Lobbestael has been suspended from team activities because of his arrest in Pullman.
Police Commander Chris Tennant says officers found the 19-year-old passed out, apparently from alcohol, in the passenger seat of a pickup truck at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the police department parking lot.
WSU Sports Information Director Bill Stevens says the suspension is standard while coach Paul Wulff and his staff review the case.
Lobbestael threw four touchdowns in five games as a freshman. His season was cut short by a knee injury against Oregon State.
